Empowering Children with Special Needs Founded with the mission to support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Disha Centre is a community-based special education and rehabilitation centre dedicated to transforming lives through care, training, and inclusion. We work with children, young adults, and their families, helping them overcome challenges through special education, therapy, life-skills training, and emotional support. Our goal is not only to educate children but to make them independent, confident, and socially included. At Disha Centre, we believe that true change happens when family, community, and education come together. Through continuous guidance, awareness programs, and personalized care, we help children discover their abilities and live with dignity.

OUR AREA OF WORK

Special Education

We provide structured, individualized learning programs designed specifically for children with intellectual disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental conditions. Every child learns differently — and we teach accordingly.

Speech & Language Therapy

Communication is a right, not a privilege. Our trained speech therapists work with children to develop verbal and non-verbal communication skills, helping them express themselves with confidence and clarity

Skill Development & Vocational Training

For older students, we focus on building life skills and vocational abilities — empowering them to become as self-reliant and independent as possible, and to participate meaningfully in society.
